(Vietnam travel) - Son La is Northwestern mountainous province of
Vietnam, at 600-700 m above sea level, far from Hanoi about 308 km the
northwest, shares border with 7 province (ThanhHoa, HoaBinh, Lai Chau, Dien
Bien, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, PhuTho) and Laos....
It is known as a riches land- its fertile soil and
primal environment have created the province a prolific dairy industry and
world reknown tea. Son La concentrate various tribes ( 12 ethnic group) consist
of: Black and White Thai, Dzao, H’Mong, Kinh, Kho’ me, Tay and so on, the
biggest ethnic is Black and White Thai and H’Mong, all with distinct, colours,
customs and traditions live in harmony.
One of the six provinces on the Vietnam Northern
Highland, Son La is the perfect site to beak the trip between Hanoi and Dien
Bien Phu. It divides 250 km border with Laos and this picturesque province is
lush and green and surrounded by soaring mountains.
Travelling in Son La, you visit easily traditional
villages through Son La province and in many you can experience interesting
journeys to a little people tribe and feel warmth and hospitality of local
people here. Anywhere you can easily catch a friendly smile and guide
enthusiastically.
Son La has many famous destinations such as Son
MocHuong Cave, Mong village, MocChau highland, Son La Former Prison and Museum
etc but the most beautiful and well-known destination is MocChau Plateau which is an ideal place for milk-cow breading, tea
and fruits planting. What is more MocChau Plateau won’t disappoint travelers
with its wide range of natural wonders like “Hang Doi” (Bat Cave); “Thac Dai
Yen” (Brassiere Waterfall) and immense forests of pine hidden behind soft mist.
It would be a big mistake if ones come to Son La but miss to visit this
wonderland landscape because the scenery has wonderful attraction here .
